I can sail a boat; cast a fly rod; lead a boy scout troop; run a big city parking lot; tie my own shoes, most of the time; and I craft a mean Mai Tai. I have been a freelance photographer, newspaper photojournalist, stock photography product manager, photo editor, photography instructor, stock photographer, and a graphic designer. I picked up my first camera in high school and never looked back.
Photography is the blood in my body; it is what keeps me alive. I strive to create images with impact and drama, as well as, capture the quiet subtle moments that define us. I love to observe people, and I capture that photograph that makes people say "I was there but never saw that".

A fun fact about me
Do you believe in alien abductions, and have you ever been to Ohio? Well, Mark may not believe in abductions, at least not in the traditional sense, but he has been to Ohio. In fact, he grew up there and spent much of his adult life there in 2015 he packed up his burrow and wagon and left the gray skies and rust behind to move to Colorado to pan for gold.
