Hi! I'm Allison - A North Carolina born-and-bred gal who loves coffee, cotton fields, DIY projects, and of course - photography.

I grew up in a family of artists and quickly realized that my art medium was going to be a camera, not a paintbrush. I picked up my first camera, a Sony Mavica, in the mid-90s - complete with a floppy-A disk that stored 3-4 images at a time. During this time, I learned how to be patient and intentional with my photographs. What began as a fun hobby, quickly turned into a passion. I continued on to study at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and received a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication, with a focus in Photojournalism. It was there that I was able to really hone my craft and fall even more in love with the art of photography.
