In 1989, our basketball team in Port Arthur, Texas always went to the State Championship game & I decided to take the photography journalism class so I can attend the games for free. My passion for photography grew when I secretly started following a professional photographer named Dave Cruz. I intensively read the newspaper & recognized his photos immediately because of his craft. After high school, my grandmother & my great grandmother told me I had to do something with my life so… I took my Canon AE1 Camera & enrolled into The Art Institute of Houston. I attended one semester & then realized how expensive the studies were & left never to return.

Years later, my cousin was apart of a rap group called UGK & he remembered that I took pictures in school & asked me to become his personal photographer on the road. After his death & thousands of photos flooding the internet, I begin to lose my passion for photography. Fast forward to 2014, I joined Word Of Restoration International Church & Lady Perry asked me would I be interested in joining the photography ministry. I was hesitant but I told her I would pray on it & get back with her. I prayed about it & made one of the best decision
