Photographs are like physical memories. For people with a terrible memory, like myself, photos are sometimes the only way to hold on to the past.

Growing up, pictures were so important to me. I loved taking pictures (with disposable cameras!), going to the studio to pose in my nicest dress, and scrapbooking photos into albums I still have today.

While I love posed and proper photos (they have their place), candids are my favorite. Those in between moments when you are giggling at your child or sharing a smile with your spouse-- those are the moments I crave.
