If you ask any of my friends or family they would say "Courtney ALWAYS had a camera on her at all times" and it's true in middle school I had an camera that you would have to get the film developed which I thought was pretty dang cool. The summer before my freshman year of high school I got my first digital camera, it was a small point and shoot canon but man did I LOVE it, I probably annoyed my friends with how many pictures I took of us.. tons of mirror selfies ;) I joined yearbook staff my freshman year where I really learned more about the art of photography. It was so cool at the end of the year to see my classmates looking at the photos I took throughout the year. But my true start of photography started when I would take pictures of my friends bands, that was the start of it all. The reactions they would have to the photos after they saw them made it all worth it to me, it sparked my interest in making it into my future career because they were so humbled by it, to this day some of them still post those photos I took and say it brings back so many good memories looking at the photos.

Slowly I grew more into portraits and I LOVE what I do.
