I love being able to share my gift of photography with others. The reason that drives me to love it because I view photography as being able to save little slivers of time like a memory. If time is linear, that would make events a pin on the timeline. And with enough pins, you create big webs of events that occur over time. And a photo is a sliver of time. It's that little memory that is in the back of your head where you can smell the air, hear the sounds, and even remember how it felt to be in that moment. Being able to take a photo and bring you back to that moment, that is why I love photography.
Awards, honors and recognition
No awards or honors, but I had a client that recently loved one of my photos so much that she cried with tears of happiness because one of the photos that she was given reminds her so much of her daughter that recently passed away and knowing that I could do that for her brings my soul joy :)
A fun fact about me
My uncle is a knight! Yes, kind of like the knights of the round table but apparently he is a part of the court from Spain or something like that?? I know that is more about my uncle than me but personally I love to rock climb and getting outdoors. I even am going to run a marathon this coming May!
