Shane did family portraits for us in Joshua Tree National Park and I couldn't have had a better experience. There were 4 adults and 3 kids and Shane was able to capture all of us in a way that was natural and true to us. Not only is he extremely professional and prompt, Shane is a pleasure to work with. And most importantly, the pictures were absolutely exceptional - we can't stop looking at them! Thank you so much, Shane! I will be telling everyone about you!

Shane is an amazing person! After dealing with all sorts of different photographers, I realized how important it is to work with someone that cares. My proposal plans involved the ocean and with the tide higher than expected, Shane was amazing with his commitment level and flexibility. On top of that, his work is truly spectacular. An incredibly talented person, but perhaps more importantly, someone that cares and loves what he does. You're wasting your time if you book anyone else and don't book Shane. Don't make that mistake, Shane is a Legend!

We used Shane Coker for both our engagement and wedding photos. He did an AMAZING job!! He perfectly captured our day and you can clearly see our love and friendship for each other in every photo. The settings he suggested were gorgeous and the composition of the photos were spot on. Shane is not only talented, but friendly and professional. We highly recommend him for any type of portrait photography

I couldn't be any happier deciding to choose Shane to shoot our intimate elopement. Shane is professional, courteous, warm and not to mentioned extremely talented beyond his years! We had a very intimate elopement with just the two of us, and sharing this with a random stranger can perhaps be an awkward thought. Shane put us at ease with his expert guidance and welcoming persona. Not only has he amazing visual instinct, but he's also one of the nicest most genuine people you will meet. Shane is a rare gem on many levels and created the most insanely wonderful images for us way beyond what we could have imagined! He's the whole package.

Shane did the photos for our very simple elopement in Joshua Tree. My husband and I had already had a large ceremony with friends and family, so this was a short and simple ceremony with a few friends.

We rented a limo to get us all there, and it ended up taking an hour longer than anticipated. When we finally got there I apologized profusely, but Shane was patient and gracious and didn't even bat an eye. He had picked out the perfect spot for our vows, and snapped some amazing photos during the ceremony. Afterwards we took portraits, and Shane had lots of ideas and "games" to get us to feel comfortable in front of the camera and get really great shots.

My husband and I are pretty awkward in front of the camera, but Shane is so sweet and gentle and made us feel at ease. He was open to our suggestions, but frankly I really appreciated that he took control telling us where to go and what to do, because I'm definitely no model! We were worried we looked awkward in the pictures, but when we got them back they BLEW US OUT OF THE WATER. Oh my, they are fantastic. They looked even better than I had hoped for.

Take it from someone who has had two weddings, here are the things you need for your wedding photographer:

    1) Raw Talent: Uh yes, check, Shane is your guy. Don't skimp on your wedding photos, people, they are the only things you get to keep from the big day. Shane will quietly capture all of the emotions you felt, and also be sure to get all the portraits of you and your loved one.

    2) Nice Person: No matter how you structure your wedding (big party or small elopement), you will spend the most time with your photographer. Shane is so kind and easy to be around, I promise you will like him.

    3) Professional: Shane is extremely responsive, open to questions and suggestions, and timely with getting your photos back! Not to mention he didn't complain when we were an hour late and had to race against the clock before the sun set!

Overall, Shane is wonderful and you must book him because he is the best. He is talented and kind and comes highly recommended. Thank you, Shane!!
