One word: humanize. Even with pets, I think the key is to cultivate the connection between photographer and subject/viewer. I am a writer at heart, but my drive for creating has extended into photography in ways I can’t express in writing. I love making quality work and making it right for the client the first time. I strive for perfection, and in many ways I feel like photography has given me more room to grow as a perfectionist and a creative thinker.
