I'm an avid people watcher and HGTV junky. Love to wander neighborhoods looking at houses and their gardens, and just sit in the French Quarter watching the people. My favorite photo subjects are kids and animals.
Awards, honors and recognition
As a photojournalist for 40 years, I have won awards in the Associate Press, Louisiana Press Association and NPPA competitions through the years. I have been on newspaper teams that have won Pulitzer prizes.

I love to make jams from fresh fruit from my garden.
