  We hired Laurie to shoot our wedding. What follows can best be described as a love letter to her quality and character.

  Laurie is amazing. If there were a word that meant "better than amazing", Laurie would be that word's superlative.

  Not only was she easy to work with, with her flexible schedule and her quick response times, she's also a fantastic photographer to boot!

  The quality of her work is astounding. She knows all the right moments to capture (and she got my good side), and can do it in basically any condition. I could not have asked for more beautiful pictures of our family and friends.

  On top of all that, she's a trooper. She's with you through all the crap that goes wrong (and it will go wrong), and gracefully blends in to the background when it's your time to shine.

  She also works very well with other professionals; she and our videographer clicked wonderfully.

  I would recommend her for anyone who needs to know that at least one aspect of their event will go perfectly.

  Thanks again for providing a first class service! I booked Laurie for my sons college commencement/graduation session. That was the best decision that I could have made. It took a lot of stress off of me for the day. We turned it into a great family session. Not only did our pictures turn out beautifully - she was also incredibly easy to work with from beginning to end. She was very flexible with my last minute location changes. Graduation was at Noon and the sunlight was bright and my pictures came out perfect!!!! She knows what she is doing!!!! She capture the spirit of the day!!! I highly suggest booking her!

  Laurie was on-site at a big math meeting at the Baltimore Convention Center. She had a stream of mathematicians coming by to get professional portraits done. This cannot have been easy. I was impressed by the calm she brought to the process. There was no sense of "hurry", but still she managed to keep up. For my portrait, she made pleasant conversation, interspersing suggestions to improve the portrait: take the pen out of your pocket, sit up straighter, lower your chin a bit. Laurie clearly knows what she is doing. She snapped off a few photos, which were good to very good, and included a great one - and that is now my go-to head shot. I can heartily recommend her as a professional portrait photographer.

  She was superb!!!!! She was able to manage the time and take photos of everything during the whole day. It was a great experience working with a person like Laurie.

  She is very professional and knows how lighting works and how to capture photos in a way that is artistic/journalistic/telling a story. The pictures were beautiful.

  She is funny! and will make your day even more special and enjoyable! She understands how weddings/special events are so she knows what to do. Also, the price is reasonable!!!   Laurie did our family pictures recently and made us feel comfortable right from the beginning. She gave us helpful advice on how to prepare in the days leading up to the shoot, and during the session she was full of good humor and great ideas as we walked from location to location. Maybe best of all, she kept our 8-year-old engaged and happy throughout. As for the photos themselves, we couldn't be happier! She got us at our best and they came out looking beautiful.   Laurie knows how to capture the spirit of an event. We were so pleased with the final images - her many years of experience show through the quality of her work.

  I hired Laurie to photograph a 3-day conference in Baltimore. The hours were long, but she was always ready to photograph all aspects of the event. She was patient and very easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. She always had the schedule on hand and never missed a shot.

  It was so worth it to hire an experienced photographer because I could focus on everything else I had to manage during the event and didn't have to worry about the photography at all.

  Overall, I'm so glad we hired Laurie and would do so again in a heartbeat. If we ever do another event in Baltimore, she'll be the first one I call!

  Laurie was the photographer for my wedding in July and she did an incredible job. We absolutely loved our engagement photos and our wedding photos. At the wedding, she and the second photographer who worked with her, Maura, were hard at work the whole night and got pictures of everyone who attended our 200+ person wedding. Our pictures turned out absolutely gorgeous. Laurie was extremely helpful and professional to work with when discussing logistics leading up to the wedding and always responded promptly when we reached out with questions. She sent us multiple albums to look at of summer weddings at venues similar to ours and set up a consultation phone call when we were deciding on a photographer. Her pricing was also very reasonable compared with other wedding photographers in the area of similar quality. Highly, highly recommend!

  We used Laurie for our wedding and she was fabulous! She had great ideas for where to take pictures, took multiple poses in the same location and was super easy to work with. She was great with listening to us and asking for a photo list, went over the timeline of everything. We have so many awesome pictures to pick from and we are so happy with our choice of photographer!
