Just like all other forms of art, photography is a means of self-expression. I take pictures to express my interpretation of the world around me. I grew up creating art using pencils, pastels, and a variety of media on canvass and paper. Now I am using my eye as the brush and the camera is my canvass. My goal is to capture moments and make them eternal. I embrace the challenge of capturing the beauty and character of the everyday actions of people. I’ve recently discovered my strongest passion in photography is portrait photography. I find that the mutual respect created between subject and photographer is simply fascinating. I will continue to explore interactions between my camera, the world, and me to create incredible images.
