I am a wife who has been married to her college sweetheart for over thirty years, mother of 4, grandmother of 4, active church member, community member, substitute school teacher, former probation supervisor, antique picker, painter, gardener. How's that for variety? I love people and photography has brought so many new friends into my life. I have been in the business long enough that some of my clients have begun to feel more like family than customers. I have followed them through engagements, weddings, reunions, maternity, and in some cases the birth of as many as three children. I absolutely love capturing their most special moments in life and preserving them through photographs that will bring those moments back to mind every time they are viewed.
Awards, honors and recognition
I won the Digital Photography Magazine 4th Annual Perfect Portrait Customer's Choice Award, a national selection as a BellaBaby photographer winner (included in their official Pinterest selections), Multi awards in the Kingsport Spring Spectacular Photography Contest, and have served as a campaign and special event photographer for numerous candidates for local and national office, State and US Representatives and State and US Senators.
A fun fact about me
I love animals and currently have horses, chickens, dogs, cats and a rabbit. Subject to change at any moment. I am apt to add a new member to the family without notice.

Wendy responded on short notice to take family pictures of the 10 of us on a Sunday evening. It was our only chance, with no backup day, and she made sure we had a plan to succeed no matter the weather. Fortunately, we had a lovely Sunday evening weather at my parents home and property. Wendy captured the personality and love of a baby, elementary student, two teens and their parents, along with grandparents, all while staying positive and keeping the smiles going. Most importantly, she captured the love of my Mom and Dad, and for this I will Be forever grateful. Wendy is an amazing family photographer.
