I’m so grateful that I have the opportunity to turn my passion into my career. I love picking up my camera everyday and never knowing what the world is going to bring my way. With over 16 years of photography experience, I want to approach every shoot in a fresh way that reflects the unique aspects of my client. I try to naturally capture who my client are with an artistic flare.
When I’m not shooting weddings you can find me at home with my wife, Nicole, and our two pups, Kodak and Elvis. We enjoy trying new foods (and drinks) in Austin, abroad, or cooking at home. I’m typically referred to as the grill master most Sunday afternoons. I try to hit the bike trail a few times a week and will stop by to help my wife on her Herb Farm in East Austin. I love music from 70’s , movies from 80’s and tv from 90’s , but none of those are mutually exclusive.

This is a belated review. But better late than never. Dustin did our wedding at the Texas State Capitol and riverboat on ladybird lake downtown. He was an excellent and detailed photographer. We were very happy with the work that was done. He was able to manage a large wedding party and paid close attention to us and made sure we got all the photos we wanted. Would recommend Dustin to anyone.

Dustin shot my engagements, bridals, rehearsal dinner, wedding and after party and did a great job! He was so easy to work with and very flexible. His wife shoots with him on wedding days and she was great too. I always got the pictures back quickly. I had a pretty rambunctious wedding party not to mention there was 11 groomsmen and 12 bridesmaids. Ridiculous I know. He was very patient and never got overwhelmed. The weekend of our wedding was very cold and raining and the venue was entirely outside. He was able to still capture lots of great pictures even with all the bad weather. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family for any photography needs. Thank you so much Dustin!!!

Dustin and his wife, Nicole, are absolutely phenomenal!! He is such an incredible photographer and has become a good friend to my husband and I. He is the kind of photographer who makes you feel so at ease that the photo sessions felt effortless and fun. Plus he is SO FAST with getting the photos back!! We got each of our photo shoots in ONE week, even the wedding photos!!!! After our wedding, we were dying to see our photos so this was so wonderful to get them before we left for our honeymoon.
We did our engagement photos on South Congress and Dustin knew all the perfect spots to get the best images. I loved his style which is a mix of photojournalism and beautiful candids. He was so patient with me as I had a lot of ideas for what I wanted which he discussed with me ahead of each of our photo shoots. Then during the shoots, he integrated everything I had asked for with his own unique and beautiful style. He is great with giving us direction on how to move our arms, heads, where to look - I never know what to do with my arms!
I LOVED my bridal shoot that I did with him at Laguna Gloria park near downtown Austin. The photos turned out stunning and I really loved having Dustin's expertise to guide me all along the way.
On the wedding day, Dustin and his wife were absolute pros. They got every shot I had hoped for, plus so many spectacular candids of us and our families. My favorite photo of the whole wedding was one I didn't even know he was taking. My husband and I did a last dance while our guests were getting in place for our sparkler exit. I had thought Dustin was downstairs and that we didn't get any photos of that moment. But when I got my photos back (less than one week later!), he got a few incredible photos of my husband and I at our most intimate moment savoring those last minutes of our wedding. I cried when I saw that he captured that moment so beautifully.
You will absolutely love working with Dustin and Nicole. Highly recommended!!

During our initial consultation with Dustin, he took the time to find out what we were wanting and looking for, and he recommended a package that was appropriate for our needs. We had already looked at his website and had an idea of what package would be best for us, and this was the same package he recommended. He never tried to get us to buy more than what we needed, and he was up front on the cost of additional hours/session beyond what the package included.
Dustin did my bridal portraits and our wedding pictures! He made the process on both days seamless and as stress free as possible! He was attentive to what we wanted in our photos and made sure all the important moments were captured! We had multiple children under the age of 5 between family and wedding party, and he showed lots of patience when trying to get photos with them! Our pictures came out beautiful, and the turn-around time was quick!
