I started shooting in 2018 as a requirement for my undergraduate degree. Before I began the class, I had no idea how life changing one 4 credit hour class would be. I immediately took to photography and was taken aback by my own, might I say natural ability. I have never before had the experience of being above average at something, while it feeling easy. Photography's more then a passion for me, it's how I relax and process the ups and downs of life. There's nothing I love more then sitting in a pasture of horses or cattle and capturing the animals essence. Of simply being able to sit, wait and breath for any moment that is about to occur. I think that's why my love for landscape photography has extended to event photography. I enjoy capturing the candid moments and the moments people have during the in-between. Action shots are exhilarating in their own right, and to have those moments remain still is incredible experience and feeling that I am proud of. The feeling of capturing an insane high jump leaves me awestruck by the persons own abilities and that I got it.
