I have to say, I’m one of the few in the DMV who only specializes in only long exposure photography, I only shoot at night (in the dark).
I started with Astro photography, then that got me more into exploring long exposures. Eventually found what I love doing right now.
People tell me I’m a perfectionist, if I’m trying to make a perfect circle, I don’t mind trying again until I get the shot. Light painting has taught me how to be more patient, and to learn from my mistakes in the dark.
Yes, some of the photos where it looks like its fire, its actually real fire. I've been painting with fire for some time and feel comfortable doing so.
My photos have almost no Photoshop.
